Even though they were selling it up until the release of 10.13 and were advertising it as compatible with the latest version of Mac OS, so it should at least be functional in 10.12. This updated version would not work on anything later than Mac OS 10.10. The latest release, Data Rescue 5, includes new tools for casual and power users alike. I emailed Prosoft support and they gave me a link for an updated version. It couldn't contact the licensing servers. It worked up through 10.14 Mojave and I was happy with it. ![]() I was able to recover data with it, no problem. Data Rescue was able to access the drive at the device level, extract my files, and save the day. When I first bought DR4 years ago it worked great. Reviewed in the United States on SeptemI had a drive fail to the point that it would not mount, and the various Mac OS disk utilities (Disk Utility, fsck, etc.) and DiskWarrior wouldnt touch it.
